Quinta dos Murças Reserva Red DOC Douro 2016 75cl

The Murças Reserva wine is born in the old vineyards of Quinta dos Murças, located between 100 and 380m, respecting nature and following sustainable agriculture. This wine shows the potential of old Douro vines to produce wines of great elegance and aging power. It aged in used French oak barrels for 12 months.
It is a wine with an intense and deep color. Its aroma is complex, fresh and elegant, dominated by black fruits, balsamic aromas, such as rock rose, and hints of spices from its aging in barrels. On the palate it is firm and concentrated, with a very present and balanced acidity, it has mature tannins well involved in its body and volume. It has a long and persistent finish, dominated by fruit notes, where its balance and elegance stand out.
