Fermentation took place for 9 days in a 7 Ton granite press, the grapes are pressed with their feet after the harvest. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine was bottled in second and third year French oak barrels, where the malolactic fermentation took place and aged for about 12 months.
The Reserva Vinhas Velhas Quinta da Pacheca wine reveals good aromatic intensity, very complex with elegant notes of chocolate and black fruits such as blueberry and blackberry. It is very balanced in the mouth with pre-ent tannins and well-integrated wood, long and persistent finish.
